a study on trees, from my grand//mother’s view

“come, lay right here”

perspective is a practice. perspective is an action. in order to see another’s truth, one must first be welcomed in to another’s view.

“you can use your imagination when the wind is blowing and see the way the branches be hugging each other”

you can use your imagination. you can use your imagination. you can use your imagination.

when the wind picks up, our strength is that of the collective. maintain connection. secure connection. trust connection.

“sometimes you can even see a mouth, yapping and yapping”

talk that talk. our voices are powerfully planted.

“it’s amazing how different parts move. like you see how the top ain’t moving but that branch right there is”

it is okay to rest. there are arms of the movement working us forward, taking care of our collective needs. trust connection.
